City Departments Finance

The Finance Department reports to the City Manager who is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the City. In addition to maintaining an accounting system that ensures compliance with the City’s adopted budget, the finance department assists in the preparation of the annual budget. The Director provides financial reports, analysis, and projections to support the needs of the city government and it's citizens. The Director also oversees payroll and accounts receivable and payable.

Judy Rice has been employed by the City of Newberry for seventeen years and has served in the capacity of Finance Director since 2002.
