City Clerk
The City Clerk supervises the operations of the Finance Department, Accounts Receivable & Payable,and Elections.
The City Clerk is responsible for public records; recording and maintaining all official documents of the City Commission; providing information and assistance to the public and City staff; noticing of meetings and preparation of agendas. This office is also responsible for the sale of cemetery lots and issuance of permits for Newberry Municipal Cemetery and rental of Newberry's Municipal Building.
The City Clerk serves as the City's elections supervisor, qualifying candidates and supervising municipal elections.
